2021 brings NEW placements in television and film.

HO HO HO WE'RE OUT OF THE SNOW!
Last month in Chicago a record for snowfall in a single month was set. Yeah, big deal. It's one of those records I'd rather have nothing to do with... But when the sun finally returned and
melted all that snow, we had a much greater appreciation for our star and the warmth she gives.
A sincere thanks to all the editors, music supervisors and producers who continue to request and use our compositions in television shows like DATELINE NBC, LAW & ORDER SVU, HBO PROMOS, KICKIN' IT, PAWNSTARS, DRAGONFLY TV, AMANDA TO THE RESCUE (we love dogs!), and the dozens of other shows in which our music is slamming the airwaves! We're also servicing a number of music portals with two compilations I've completed recently: "Epic Guitars" and "Ring Of Fire". If you haven't checked it yet, new high definition clips have been added to the site which feature our music in Hard Core Pawn, Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown - as well as a re-posting (in HD) Smallville and The Bernie Mac Show. To see them, move to the "MORE" menu and click on the "Coming Soon" tab - you'll see the thumbnails... February had more than just snow: Our quarterly International distribution statement showed that our tracks continue to be resilient! The February International statement shows placements in 52 countries including Spain, Canada, Japan and loads of placements in Germany! Our music appeared in programs ranging from Tour Le Monde En Parlait in Canada to Galaxy Park in Belgium and many of the programs which used our work in previous quarters continue to place them and in some cases have added more. We are pleased and grateful that so many productions reach for our music in post. Kobalt Music Publishing (Beck, Childish Gambino, Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Kirk Franklin) added several of our compositions to their catalog, while big dogs Universal, Warner & SONY music publishing expanded their humongous catalogs with a number of our select compositions.
As of this writing in 2021, the guitar-centric collection titled "EPIC GUITARS" has been added to the website. You can find it on the home page and in the 'new music' area. We are employing several new software additions to the studio, including Antares' Auto Tune Pro and several new high-quality Izotope plug-ins. A vigorous nod goes out to Cymatics, who are offering some great new production treats including their Diablo drum enhancement tool and Zodiac - both GREAT additions to the post-production arsenal. With technology that's constantly being upgraded, we dedicate serious time and effort to trials and applications in order to keep our productions right on the razor's edge of what's considered "contemporary".
With each quarterly distribution, our PRO (Performing Rights Organization) issues a list of where our music has been placed, including the name of the program, the country, and of course the title. Covid-19 world has changed the way and the styles of music that people listen to, accelerating a movement towards more personal playlists. Having a versatile and varied group of composers has never been more important.
Composer Rick Sankey's "It's Your Bling" has basically become a theme on the comedy channel hit Impractical Jokers. The show used "Bling" over a 100 times in 2019, and is on track for more this year! "Mastermind", a track written by yours truly, saw similar numbers of placements in Pawn Stars and Hard Core Pawn. Two tracks which I penned with songstress Shay Jones made new inroads after long runs on The Bernie Mac Show: "Step Into My World" and "Get Funky" made regular placements in The Mentalist, Hawaii Five-0, and The Office over the past year! Etric Lyons' "Fleet Of Dreams" drew dozens of placements in both Television (Place In The Sun & Galaxy Park) and Internet radio, while Jr. Williams has seen widespread and multiple uses from his Blues collection "From The Delta To Detroit" (SCDV 224). Another blues release - "Memphis Blues" (SCDV 461) featuring Castro Coleman is tearing up both U.S. and European television shows, more specifics on Castro's success to come. ALL of our composers have received multiple plays from their respective releases - space allotted here limits us from mentioning them all - CONGRATULATIONS TEAM!
